Privacynotice

This is an English translation of our privacy notice, provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the official one under Mexican law.

01Who is responsible for your data

Geovanni Tello Rosas, doing business as Geo Tello, with an address at C. Álamo #111, Col. San Juan, C.P. 63130, Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data.

02What data we use

When you message us on WhatsApp or by email, fill out a form or visit geotello.com, we may collect:

• Identification and contact: name, phone number and email address.
• Your interest: whether you are looking for a website, video editing or both, and the information you share about your business.
• Browsing: technical data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected with cookies and similar technologies only if you accept them. Details are in the cookie policy.
• Minigame: if you win and claim your discount, your name, your WhatsApp or your email (one is enough), your business name if you want to give it, the service you are interested in, a nickname and your score. To prevent cheating we keep an encrypted fingerprint of your connection, not your IP address as is.
• Free website check and business diagnosis: the address of the page you check and its result, or your diagnosis answers. If you ask for the full report or for us to contact you, also your name, WhatsApp or email and your business name. To prevent abuse we keep the same encrypted fingerprint of your connection.

If you decide to hire us, we may also ask for billing details (tax ID, legal name and tax address) to issue your invoice. That data is used only for that purpose.

We do not request sensitive personal data.

03What we use your data for

Purposes necessary to serve you:

• Replying to your messages and giving you information about our website, hosting and video editing services.
• Scheduling calls and video calls.
• Preparing quotes, contracts and receipts, and following up on your project.
• If you win the minigame: giving you your discount code, checking the promotion terms are met (for example, that you are a new client) and contacting you about your project.
• Showing your nickname and score on the minigame's public leaderboard. Your name, phone number and email are never published.
• If you use the free check or the diagnosis: showing your result, giving you the full report and, if you leave your details, contacting you about your website or your videos. Anyone with your report link can see it, but the report never shows your name or contact details.
• Meeting legal and tax obligations.

Additional purposes, which require your consent and which you may refuse without affecting the above:

• Sending you information about new services, promotions or content.
• Measuring how the site is used with Google Analytics and measuring my ads with the Meta Pixel. They only turn on if you accept them in the cookie notice.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it with authorities when required by law and with the providers I need to deliver the service, who process it on my behalf:

• Hostinger: hosting for geotello.com and your website, email and the database where I keep your messages and quotes.
• Google: Analytics, only if you accept analytics, and PageSpeed Insights for the free website check.
• Meta: the Pixel, only if you accept advertising, and WhatsApp when you message us there.

Some of these providers have servers outside Mexico. Each one handles the information under its own privacy policy.

To measure speed in the free check we send Google PageSpeed Insights only the address of the page being checked, never your contact details.

If you contact TL Studio (video editing) from this site, your message goes directly to Tania Lizeth, who processes your data independently to handle your request.

05Cookies and similar technologies

When you visit geotello.com we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. If you don't, they don't load. Necessary ones, which only remember your preferences, are always on. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button in the footer. The full list is in the cookie policy.

06How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for what you asked us and to follow up on your project. We delete it when you ask, except data the law requires us to keep, such as invoice and payment records, which we keep only for that purpose for the period the law sets.

07How to limit the use of your data or withdraw your consent

• To stop receiving promotions, email hola@geotello.com or message us on WhatsApp with the word STOP. You can also do it from Your data.
• To withdraw your cookie consent, use "Cookie settings" in the footer or block cookies in your browser.
• To withdraw your consent for any other use or ask us to delete your data, write to us through the same channels. Withdrawing it doesn't affect what we already did with your permission.

08Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights). The person in charge of handling your requests is Geovanni Tello Rosas.

Send your request to hola@geotello.com with:

• Your name and a way to reply to you.
• A copy of an official ID (or your representative's, plus the document that proves it).
• Which right you want to exercise and over which data.

We will reply through the same channel, within the deadlines set by Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

09Changes to this notice

Any change will be published on this page, with the date it was updated.

If you believe your rights were not respected, you may contact the Mexican authority on personal data protection (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno).
