This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the official one under Mexican law.

These terms explain how I work when you hire Geo Tello for a website, an online store, a custom build, hosting or maintenance, and the rules for using geotello.com. If anything is unclear, ask me before you pay.

01Business details

  • Provider: Geovanni Tello Rosas, an individual doing business as Geo Tello.
  • Address: C. Álamo #111, Col. San Juan, C.P. 63130, Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico.

  • Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (UTC−7). Questions, complaints and claims go through these same channels.

02Quotes and prices

  • Before we start, I send you in writing what your project includes, what it costs and when I deliver it. That price doesn't change halfway, unless you ask for something outside the quote and approve it in writing.
  • Published prices are starting prices in Mexican pesos plus VAT (IVA, 16%). Each price also shows the total with VAT. Your quote has the exact total you will pay.
  • If your business is outside Mexico, I quote in US dollars or your currency, and the quote says whether any tax applies.
  • Extras (Google Maps, booking, a second language, logo, rush delivery and others) are quoted separately, and you know their price before deciding. There are no charges that aren't in your quote.
  • Every quote states how long it is valid. If it expires, I update the price before we start.

03Payments

  • Websites, stores and custom builds: 50% to start and 50% on delivery, once your website is ready and before it goes live.
  • Payment methods are listed in your quote. If you need an invoice (factura), send me your tax details before paying.
  • If you cancel, what you paid is refunded according to the work done, as explained in the refund policy.

04Design preview

For $990 MXN plus VAT I design your homepage with your logo, colors and information so you can see how it would look. If you hire me, the full amount is credited to your package, and if the first design doesn't convince you, the second one is free. Since it is work already done for you, the preview is not refundable.

05Delivery times

  • One-page site, 2 weeks; multi-page site, 4; online store, 6; custom builds, the timeline we agree in writing.
  • The clock starts once I have your texts, photos and access. If they arrive later, delivery moves by the same amount.
  • If a project goes 30 days without a reply from you, I pause it and we reschedule delivery when we pick it up again. You don't lose what you already paid.

06What I need from you

  • Texts, photos, logo and access on time, and a review of each step.
  • That the material you give me is yours or you have permission to use it. If you ask for stock photos, I use ones licensed for commercial use.
  • That your website and what you sell on it comply with the law. I don't build websites for illegal or misleading activities.

07Changes during the project

While I build your website you review each step and ask for the adjustments you need within the quote. If you ask for something new that wasn't quoted (more pages, another feature, another language), I tell you its cost and timing before doing it, and I only do it if you approve.

08Your website is yours

  • Once you finish paying, the website is yours: the design, the texts and the images you gave me or I made for you.
  • The domain is registered in your name from day one, and the first year is included in every package.
  • Some pieces (fonts, code libraries or stock photos) belong to third parties and are used under their licenses.
  • I may show your website in my portfolio. If you'd rather I didn't, tell me and I'll remove it.

09Hosting and maintenance

  • The first 30 days of hosting and support are free from the day your website goes live, with no card and no lock-in.
  • After that you choose one of the plans on the pricing page. It is paid in advance every month, or for the full year with two months free. Prices are plus VAT.
  • I don't make automatic charges without your permission. If we ever agree on one, I first tell you the amount, the date and how often it is charged, and you can cancel it at any time. Before a yearly plan renews, I let you know at least 5 days in advance.
  • You cancel with a message on WhatsApp or by email. The service continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • While you have a plan, your domain renewal is included. If you leave, I hand over your website and your domain, and future renewals are paid directly to the company that holds it.
  • If a payment is late, I let you know before pausing the website. Your files and your domain remain yours.

10Warranty and limits

  • After your website goes live, you have 30 days to report any bug, and I fix it at no cost.
  • I check every day that your website is online, but no hosting can promise it will never go down. If something fails, I take care of it as soon as possible.
  • I build your website so Google can find it and people message you, but I can't guarantee a Google ranking or a number of sales: that depends on many things outside my control.
  • Third-party services such as Google, Meta, WhatsApp or your bank may change or fail without notice. If that affects your website, I help you sort it out.

11Video with TL Studio

Video editing is provided directly by Tania Lizeth (TL Studio). She quotes, bills and gives you her terms in writing, including refunds. If you win the 5% in the minigame, it also applies to her videos.

12Promotions

Every promotion shows its conditions. The minigame's are: new clients only, one code per person or business, valid for 30 days, applies to website design and TL Studio videos (not hosting, domains or renewals) and can't be combined with other promotions. See the minigame.

13Using geotello.com

  • The texts, designs and images on geotello.com belong to Geo Tello or its clients and may not be copied without permission.
  • The free website check and the business diagnosis are automated estimates meant to guide you. They are not a full audit or a guarantee.
  • Don't use the site to check websites you have no reason to check, or to overload or attack it.

14Privacy and cookies

How I use your data is in the privacy notice, and which cookies I use, in the cookie policy. To opt out of messages or ask me to delete your data, go to Your data.

15Changes, governing law and complaints

  • If I change these terms, I publish the new version here with its date. Whatever you already hired is governed by the version in force when you hired it.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. If you have a complaint, write to me first and we'll sort it out. You may also contact Mexico's consumer protection agency (Profeco).
